epaselect epa07214647 The prototype EVTOL (electrical vertical take-off and landing) flying taxi made by Russian company Bartini lies in the snow after it crashed during a demonstration flight at the Skolkovo Innovation Center in Moscow, Russia, 07 December 2018. The flying taxi takes off vertically like a helicopter and during a horizontal plane, its screws rotating perpendicular to the vehicle's body and continues flying like an airplane. Bartini plans to complete the development and present the air taxi on the commercial market by 2020. Bartini is a Russian start-up and participant of the McFly.aero, online air taxi incubator.
