Rescuers examine the hull 21 January 2003, of Rocknes, the Norwegian-operated cargo ship that capsized in a fjord near Bergen off Norway's southwestern coast, killing 18 crewmen including 16 Filipinos. The ship probably hit an underwater rock, Norwegian police said Wednesday. The Rocknes, operated by the Norwegian company Jebsen Management, keeled over in just minutes in a narrow section of the Raune fjord after leaving the western port of Bergen on Monday, throwing a number of its 30 crewmen into the icy waters of the North Sea.
