He was convicted of killing on-off girlfriend Jennifer Levin, in New York CityÕs Central Park after her body was found by a tree around 6am. Released from prison after 15 years, Chambers gave his only interview to 48 Hours in 2003. He had a chance for redemption but that didnÕt happen - as Chambers would soon be making headlines again. He spent 100 days in 2004 for possession of a controlled substance and driving with a suspended license. Then in 2007 he , Chambers was arrested again for selling cocaine out of his apartment. This time he was sentenced to 19 years in prison. Jennifer's mother Ellen was stunned: ÒHe got more time in prison for selling drugs than murdering my daughter, which is pretty amazing.Ó He will be eligible for parole this time in 2024.
