Woman affair with her brother-in-law ends in murder

Pictured here is Craig Heidt Robin Heidt will admit she was the woman Ôat the centre of a stormÕ. She was married to Carey Height and the couple had three children together. To everyone around them they were the perfect family but behind closed doors their marriage was rocky and Robin was soon seeking affection elsewhere. But Robin didnÕt go very far to seek the excitement and adventure that she craved. For she was having an affair with CareyÕs own older brother Craig. Despite knowing it was wrong, Robin and Craig continued their secret affair Ð only soon it wasnÕt a secret any more. Within days of Carey finding out about the couple, he had moved out of the family home and moved back in with his parents Philip and Linda. Robin and CareyÕs split soon kicked off a chain of events that left Linda at the centre of a storm that ended with Carey and Philip dead and Linda fighting for her life. Police soon found out about the affair - and Craig's missing shotgun. Their investigation soon named Craig as the main suspect in the murder of his father and brother - and attempted murder of his mother - all because of his love for his sister-in-law Robin. He denied the allegations but was charged with murder - and was left shocked when Robin turned against him and testified in court. A jury found him guilty of murder and a judge sentenced Craig to two life terms plus 85 years, making parole almost impossible.
